Peace of Paper
I’m going to be honest. The extent of my creativity for Valentine’s Day is limited to what the drug store has leftover on February 13th. I am not a creative person and I have not only resorted to Sponge Bob Valentines for my kids – but also for my husband! But Jan Hurn, owner of Peace of Paper, is going to be on the show today to talk about the value of the Homemade Valentines card! Jan says, “My company, Peace of Paper, was founded upon making touching, handmade cards. My tagline, Designs by a Desperate Mom, communicates that my stationery designs were born out of a difficult situation in my life where I was desperate to find a way to support my three kids. I had truly special people come along side me to help us and it inspired me to make hand drawn cards as thank you gifts. People responded positively to my cards and it inspired to continue making them. The company is a result of love shown to me and my family and the gratitude that my card creations allowed me to share.”
