Resources

They didn’t come with instruction manuals but somehow we are supposed to know what to do when they lay on the floor screaming because of a missing toy train. Parenting can send even the most sane among us into a frazzled state of craziness.

Parenting is not for the faint-of-heart and it is not designed to be tackled alone. As a club of Not-So-Perfect parents, we are a diverse group. Included in our ranks are moms, dads, single parents, step-parents and even grandparents. We work outside the home and we stay at home. But most of all, we are the caregivers who love our children and try to maintain sanity in an insane world.

I don’t mean to be so exclusive, but if you’ve got a staff of maids, nannies, cooks and gardeners this website probably won’t suit you. But if you’re a Not-So-Perfect parent, and it’s difficult for you to find the time to buy ready-made peanut butter and jelly sandwiches rather than make your own honey – I’m talking to you.

I have included some resources that I hope will be helpful for you along your journey. For example, my website reviews can assist you from having to surf the net for hours while you are surfing the loads of laundry that arepiling up. I have also reviewed a bunch of children’s books that are worth picking up. Finally, I have a ton of articles that I have written that will offer insights and advice from one Not-So-Perfect Parent to another. So click around and enjoy!
