I have always had a conflict with my dreams. I tend to strive for things that seem bigger than I can achieve. Yet, through the grace of God – those items on my vision board seem to transfer to reality. I felt that I had tapped my limit of blessings when I brought home our baby Victoria. She, by the way, looks so similar to the baby on my vision board that I would dare anyone to tell them apart!
In some ways, I didn’t want to gamble and ask for more. Yet, I have had another dream – another ambition that God has given me the grace to pursue. The dream of a radio show. Through the unending support of my sweet husband, and the added support of my BFF Jennifer Lanter (who, by the way is my co-host) the show is launching tomorrow. For us newbies, the Early Bird start time of 7 am on Sunday Mornings seems tolerable because the Not-So-Perfect Radio show is launching on the stellar 103.7 KVIL (the #1 station in the metroplex!).
I am grateful – oh so grateful. If by some chance you are up and near a radio – please tune in. We will be there – still rough around the edges but thrilled for the chance. My prayer is that this radio show will serve as a platform for others who have dreams and just enough sassiness to purse them. Love to you all!
